Elvis Presley was born on the 8 january 1935 in Tupelo, Mississipi, in a poor family.when Elvis was 13, his parents, who were jobless, decided to move in Memphis; a big city in Tennesse to find a job.Elvis really liked music, specially afro- american music, blues and gospel. So in summer 1953,Elvis, who was eighteen at this moment, decided to record his first song at Sun Studio, in Memphis.He recorded two songs and left the studio with his own disk, to give it as a birthday gift to his mother. Later, the boss of the studio, Sam Philips,who was trying to find young singers ,contacted Elvis Presley to give him a real try.Then, Elvis recorded 5 disks, and Sam Philips sent him to his first tour.Elvi's popularity is now regional, and his notoriety grows bigger and bigger.Elvis Presley continues to sing and perfom in all United States, he released very famous song like Love me Tender (1956) or Can't help falling in love (1961).He became the singer we all know : The King of Rock and Roll.
