Venice is one of the most beautiful cities in Italy. It was built on the water supported with big trunks of about 15 metres.

Inside the Ducal Palace, in the "Duke's Apartment", you can see rooms decorated with admirable paintings that show the story of Venice. In the armory you can see armor and all types of weapons, such as firearms. In the prison you can see the dungeons and wet wells (pozzi). The appearance of these is anything but welcoming.

THE DUCAL PALACE

The Fenice Theatre was reborn after two fires so no name would fix better. The Theatre is today one of the favourite places for opera music and is also an exhibition space where you can visit the atrium, the foyer and the Apollonian Rooms. In the stalls, you can admire the typical red leather armchairs, the magnificent central chandelier and the golden balustrades.
