Structures
These sometimes affect the object and sometimes they don't
variable loads:
These don't change over the time.
Fixed or permanent loads
A weight or mass that is supported by a structure or a force that a structure is subjected to in supporting a weight or a mass.
Loads
Effort is the force required by a machine to perform work on a load.
Efforts
Force is a quantitative description of an interaction that causes a change in an object´s motion.
Forces
TENSION: we produce tension when the forces stretch the object they're acting on. COMPRESSION: we see this force when we try to crush or compress an object. BENDING: This is when forces try to bend the body they act on . TORSION: in this case, the forces try to twist the body they act on. SHEARING OR CUTTING: this force
