Getting your BRP from Leeds ISC
During the time of applying for your Tier 4 visa, you will have been given an option to collect your BRP card either from Leeds International Study Centre or Headingly post office. If you chose Leeds ISC as your collection point, the BRP card will be delivered directly to the centre. You will be invited to attend a drop-in session where we will electronically scan your passport and obtain your UK contact details. When you have provided all the above information we have asked for, your BRP card will be ready for you to collect.

Getting your BRP from the post office
Students who are over the age of 18 years, if you have chosen to collect your BRP card from Headingly post office, You must collect your BRP within 10 days of arriving in the UK.The UKVI letter, will tell you which post office to collect your BRP from. The main collection point for Leeds ISC is Headingly post office, which is a 10 minutes’ walk from the centre

Re-direction Service
If the UKVI letter states to collect your BRP card from either London or Brighton post office, then there is a re-direction service available. Visit Headingly post office and take your passport and UKVI letter with you. Inform the advisor, you would like to re-direct your BRP card from it's current location to Headingley post office. There is a charge for this service which may cost £21.90. It can take upto 7 working days for Headingley post office to receive your BRP card. You will need to take your passport with you, when you make another visit to collect the BRP card. You will also be expected to inform the centre you have now received your BRP card. We will then arrange a date to electronically scan your BRP card, for visa compliance purposes.

If the UKVI letter states your collection point is Headingly post office. A nominated staff member from the Student Experience office will collect your BRP card on your behalf during induction week and after.The staff member will inform you when to provide your passport and UKVI letter ready for collection. If your card is ready for collection, you will be given all documents the following day.

Lost/Stolen BRP card
We advise all students to take great care of your after their belongings expecially your passport and BRP card. It is not safe to walk around with your documents in case they are lost or stolen and replacing the documents is a long and expensive process. If an unfortunate incident occurs and your BRP card has been either lost or stolen. You MUST inform the Student Experience Office straight away or your Academic Success tutor. The Office will help you to apply for a replacement BRP card. If you have lost your passport, inform the Student Experience Office straight away or your Academic Success tutor. To apply for a replacement passport, you will have to contact your either your embassy or your agent. To avoid losing your documents, we strongly advise to take clear pictures of the passport details page and front and back of the BRP card and leave the documents in your accommodation.
NOTE: If you come across an error for instance, your name has been spelt incorrectly, or you have been issued with no working hours, please ensure to inform the Student Experience Office via the Contact form on the Virtual Reception!

How to report an error
Once you have succesfully obtained your BRP card, please ensure the following details are correct: 1. Your full name - family name should be at the top, followed by your first and any middles names 2.Type of visa - This should be Tier 4 student visa 3. Date of birth 4. Working hours - From August 2019, UKVI had allowed students to work up to 10 hours per week during term-time. If your BRP has more than 10 hours, you must report this to the Student Experience Office to be reported as an error and we can arrange a new BRP card to be issued.
