Kushin was born in a village about 4,000 years ago. At that time he was just a "simple and happy" child. But one day this village was attacked by a terrible group called "Scriptas", "murderers", "monsters" who spread horror, tattooing all their horrible deeds onto their own skins so they would never be forgotten. The Scriptas were led by a terrible man called "Gal-Sal", who turned Kushin's father and mother into slaves, but it didn't stop there. Gal also tortured Kushin's father and mother in front of him. Poor Kushin's fear caused the "other side" to turn his parents into horrible monsters, so Gal took Kushin his whole life serving as a source of fear, as he saw his own parents turned into monsters, committing massacres. Living daily with the freaks his family had become, Kushin swore he would destroy the paranormal forever. Every day Kushin witnessed terrible paranormal events. And so he became the first human to achieve full paranormal exposure, a way to directly connect with what he hated the most. He could transcend, he looked directly onto the "other side" and the "other side" also looked at him. He acquired complete occult knowledge. He understood everything, and thanks to that he also understood the way to completely separate reality from the "other side". But Kushin, knowing everything, lost everything. Kushin decided to name himself as "Kian", "the one who would unite reality and the other side" to later separate himself completely. Adapted and written by Margarida Duarte, 8C
