Treasure island is an adventure book written by Robert Louis Stevenson in 1881. Other than adventure, it's genres are fiction and kid's literature so it was pubblished for a younger audience.
The Author
Robert was born in 1850 in Edinburgh and died at the age of 44. He was one of the greatest Scottish writers and wrote several books like " The Kidnapped Boy" and "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde".

Plot
Treasure Island is an adventure novel about young Jim Hawkins, who discovers a treasure map and embarks on a dangerous journey to find pirate treasure. Along the way, he encounters betrayal, and the pirate Long John Silver. In the end, Jim and his loyal companions outsmart the pirates and recover the treasure.
