L’alfabeto polacco ha solamente 9 vocali, e sono usate abbastanza di rado, soprattutto per l’orecchio di un italiano! Le parole sono lunghe ed hanno un suono duro, quella polacca è una lingua affascinante ma difficile, come quasi tutte le lingue dell’est Europa per un italiano.

La Dama con l’Ermellino, il famosissimo dipinto di Leonardo da Vinci che per tanti versi ancora oggi è misterioso e ricco di enigmi, si trova proprio… in Polonia! Questo bellissimo dipinto, che è così misterioso e che tutti noi abbiamo visto almeno una volta nella vita in un libro d’arte, è conservato all’interno del Castello di Wawel, ai piedi della bellissima città di Cracovia (che, per inciso, vi consigliamo assolutamente di visitare).

Breslavia è una città… invasa dai nani! Questa città polacca è infatti piena e disseminata, nelle vie del centro storico, da piccoli nani, sculture di bronzo che potete trovare nelle piazze, arrampicati sui muri, nel fiume… ci sono circa 50 statuine disseminate per tutta la città e sono davvero bellissime

I cimiteri si trovano nel centro della città e sono visivamente fruibili passeggiando accanto per le vie del centro. Di primo acchito potrebbe sembrare inquietante, in realtà è solo il loro modo di avere un quanto più sereno rapporto con l’aldilà.
