Our guidance on preventing and reporting misconduct explains what behaviours we consider misconduct, how to report a formal or informal complaint, and your rights within our system put in place to help and support you. UN Volunteers have a duty to report misconduct, so please familiarise yourself with this self-paced guide and refer to for the rest of your assignment.

Mandatory and essential e-courses are key in creating a safe, ethical workplace, especially for you as UN Volunteers. These courses cover safety protocols, UN values, and cultural insights, empowering you to protect yourself, your colleagues, stakeholders, and the UN's reputation. They also provide a thorough understanding of the rights, obligations, and policies governing UN personnel, upholding the highest standards of conduct.
