It has already been used in various situations on the G20 Summit on board the Cruise ship Seabourn Spirit and at the 2010 Winter Olympics

The cannon version LRAD 2000 RX fires A 160 DB and allows you to adjust the range of the sound attack from 30 to 360o and for the military an important point is the signal transmission range that is about 9km.
