Learn about the care and handling of native insectivorous bats and eastern rabbit species through an intensive 10 or 12-week internship. Experience all phases of bat and rabbit development from neonates through adults of multiple species. Position includes opportunities to work withtwo nationally recognized facilites,Bat Conservation & Rescue of Virginia and Augusta Cottontails. Candidates must have proof of rabies vaccination or current titer and be fully vaccinated against COVID. Candidates must have own transportation. 10 or 12 week opportunoties. Preferred start date May 12.
