Was 252 - 66 million years ago. 2nd era which was apart of the Phanerozoic Eon.



Ended with the Cretaceous-Paleogene Extinction event. This was a meteor strike that wiped out the dinosaurs.
Reptiles were sucessful and were mainly dinosaurs. Mammals and frogs also evolved.
