In this module, i will be looking at my future career and my future goals and setting steps and targets on how I plan to achieve them. I will also track my progress!
Introduction:
I would like to progress to audition for more musical theatre shows and jobs when completeing my level 5
I would like to become a teacher in performing arts, this could be in a school or drama/performing group. - i would want to do this after i have got to perform and audition for myself.
My Long term goals.
I would also like to participate in more workshops throughout the remainder of the course.
i want to participate in more live performances throughout the year, i have already started doing this, as of March 2023 i have participated in 3 live performances and are working towards performing "Carrie the musical" playing the role of Sue Snell.
My Mid - term goals.
What is a show reel?
How i created my showreel..
- I used the editing software imovie
- I used the different clips from the different modules over the duration of the course.
- i wanted to include a clip of acting, singing and danceing to showcase that i can do all three of the diciplines which will make me look more employable.
What is a show reel for?
- A show reel is something that you can send to directors when applying for a performing arts job.
- This should show off you as a performer, it is a short 3 minutes or less clip of a performers "Best bits"
- The spotlight website helped me to understand what would be needed in my show reel and this gave me the insight to create my own version
- Having a showreel will help with my future goal to be in more shows.

What to include in a Performer cv
I used this youtube video to help me to create my performer cv however this video is not specifically for a performers one. An actors cv has to include: -Headshot -TV/Film and credits of performances (in date order) - Height, Weight, Hair color and eye color. -Skills
My Performer CV:This is my performers cv that I already had before beginning this module, I have juse changed and edited this.
An Example of a performer cv: This was a performer cv that I took inspiration from to create my own unique version.
A well-constructed CV could be the difference between getting an interview for your dream job or not, so knowing what you should write and how you should do it is paramount to your success.
(AspiretoLearn, 2020)
My Teacher CV: This is My version that I have created based off the example and other research i have looked into.
An Example of aTeacher cv: This is an example I haver found online of a teaching CV, because teaching is my long term goal it is important for me to have multiple types of CV's . I used this example and others to create my own version.
