The Case of Jeffrey MacDonald
In the case of Jeffrey Macdonald, a prestigious military doctor, we can say that several mistakes were made from the start. I have analyzed the case deeply and Jeffrey said at first he raised suspicions. When he was checked at the hospital, his injuries were minor after having been fighting against 4 people armed with sharp objects. Those injuries could be attributed to a scalpel and McDonald was a doctor. At the crime scene there was only a small table and an overturned vase, they were the only signs of a struggle. The surgical gloves used to write "pigs" were the same ones Jeffrey had at home. The defense attorney, Bernard Segal, based his allegation "on the poor quality of the investigation, the mistreatment of the crime scene, and the omission to look for the suspects indicated by my client." The MPs who entered the crime scene touched important things, there is also a lack of evidence and information that are available about the crime and the chain of custody failed from the first moment. These are very important mistakes that should never be made at a crime scene.
