CREATE AN ACCOUNT

Wordwall requires an account. It is for free, but only 6 templates can be used; otherwise, you have to pay.

Once you log in, you click the light-blue box (Create Activity).

Activities are created using a template system.

Now you are there, ready to create them.

To make a new activity you start by picking your template and then enter your content.

These are the templates you can pick:

I have choosen the classic one “MATCHING PAIRS"

Then you have to EDIT the content.This is how I have done it:

WRITE A TITLE : IN MY CASE "BABY ANIMALS" AND ADD A PAIR ...

I HAVE CHOSEN PAIRS OF DIFFERENT ITEMS (MIN 3 MAX 10) (YOU CAN UPLOAD IMAGES IF YOU WANT)

When you finish entering all the content you click in DONE. And you will see this:

After adapting the content, click Done to save the changes.

If you want to edit the activity, you can simply click the Edit content link underneath the activity itself.

1. Since Wordwall is a web-based tool, internet connection must be available. 2. There is a wide range of templates, but only six are for free.

Drawbacks:

1. Wordwall is a tool for vocabulary learning.
2. t is very simple to use it. Convenient for teachers who are short of time or not very confident with technology.
3. You can set tasks for groups or individual learners.
4. You can find and edit ready-made content for a range of school subjects and levels.
