Me Too / Me Neither: How to agree with someone in English
The phrases "Me too" and "Me neither" are the easiest way to agree with another person. When we use it we don't have to conjugate any verb or pay attention to any structure. If someone says a phrase in the past, present or future one can agree with these two phrases "Me too" and "Me neither". To agree with a positive phrase or expression we use “Me too” and to agree with a negative phrase we use “Me neither”. Remember, it's just to AGREE WITH SOMEONE. If they disagree, they CANNOT USE the phrases “Me too” or “Me niether
EXAMPLES
- “I love going to the beach. “Me too!”
- “Im not going to the party because it is too far away.” “Me neither.”
- “I went to Patriocio´s party last night”
- “Me too.” “
- I have never been to the USA” “Me neither.”
