What are the steps to be in the NFL?

The most traditionl journey to the NFL is from a HIgh school player, to college, then be drafted to an NFL team

Only 1.2% of college athletes will enter the draft and be selected by an NFL team

Ususally 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th round players do not end up with an contracts or get playing time

Out of the millions of high school players in America, around 6.5% will get a college offer

What should I do to make it this far

As you can see the probability of making it to the NFL from being a high school player is very hard. The statisics are almost the same as being struck by lighting! To reach the top percentage of every level, I would have to put in extra work while my other competition is not. I would change my diet to reach an avergae weight and body type of an NFL player and train is extra trainers. I would watch film and always workout and study my game. I have got to know that whenever I am not working or slacking off, someone is out there out working me and it will pay off in the future.
