THE KOALAS
Project Biology Extinction
Extinction
So during the day they move to larger trees to avoid the heat, while at night they would return to their base to feed. This necessity would require too much effort from the slow-moving marsupials, and would seriously threaten their survival.
Why is the animal at risk?
The koala is a marsupial that lives only in eastern Australia and is in a vulnerable state due to recent fires an increased deforestation for agricolture. But also because of rising temperatures, because the animal - used to staying on eucalyptus trees all day - are forced to find shelter alsewhere.

Can anything save the animal from becoming extinct?
One solution to svae these animals would be to plant new eucalyptes trees in Australia's forests.
