1. Instruction needs to ensure that learners develop both a rich repertoire of formulaic expressions and a rule-based competence. English expressions are used every day by native speakers, their function is precisely to generate a less literal and more expressive interaction, the expressions are popular terms that students need to know in order to become familiar with the language in its native context.
a. From Maley document, what are the most important principles in materials development, for you? Propose at least 5 principles, explain them and give examples.
MY ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONS
The acquisition of a second language consists of a set of natural and unconscious processes through which the learner develops it in a similar way as children do with their first language, developing communicative competence.
Principle 3 – Successful instructed language learning requires extensive L2 input
The form allows communicating a concise message to the viewer, a message that is not always consciously perceived.

Developing these 4 English communication skills is essential to ensure clear and understandable communication. In addition, the level you achieve in each skill will determine your overall level of English proficiency.

the educational importance of individual differences lies in teaching and educating for the understanding that we are all different and unique. And that it is precisely this uniqueness that allows everyone to find their own way to learn and to build knowledge.
