¿Qué vamos a aprender?

El objetivo es motivar y ayudar al alumnado a desarrollar la expresión escrita en inglés en el aula. - Situación real en el aula: La realidad del alumnado es la falta de tiempo que tienen fuera del aula para poder desarrollar la expresión escrita. Asímismo, algunos muestran dificultades a la hora de expresarse por escrito. Es una destreza que, es probable que no la ha desarrollado suficientemente. Es alumnado con mucha motivación, curiosidad y alto nivel de participación. - Promover la comprensión: El nivel de comprensión es alto en general pero el uso de herramientas garantiza un mejor entendimiento.

ESCRITURA COLABORATIVA Se entrega a los alumnos una hoja con vocabulario visto en la Unidad, tendrán que realizar una tarea de búsqueda de sinónimos en equipo. Después, y reutilizando dicho léxico, escribirán secuencias de una historia individualmente para ponerla en común al final.

A few years ago, I learned about a strategy called Quote, Quote, Mingle from our middle school instructional coach at a professional development session. This strategy helps students gain knowledge by having conversations with their peers based on what they’ve read. The more people you talk to, the more information you get to help you develop a fuller picture of the topic. (I still remember the article we read that day about a panda’s sixth digit. This strategy may sound familiar. It has a lot in common with the jigsaw method, but while the jigsaw method asks groups of students to become “experts” on different aspects of a topic and then share their findings with their classmates, Quote, Quote, Mingle requires students to hypothesize about a text while posing questions and drawing inferences about it based on reading a small part of it. As world language teachers, we try to integrate as many texts as we can to expand our learners’ reading capacity.
