Locking Mounting Brackets are required to safely complete all ceiling track installations
  • We will refer to these as safety brackets
    • Part #3935 - Locking Mounting Brackets
  • They prevent rails from shifting, sliding, or separating.

Master the #3935 Locking Mounting Bracket (Safety Bracket)

What is a safety bracket?

Next Page
This can cause the motor to get stuck or rail to fall off the bracket! This is very dangerous...
See what can happen if safety brackets are NOT used... RAIL IS SEPARATING
Prevent the installed rails from sliding, shifting, or separating!!

Why even use a safety bracket?

Next Page

Rules for using the safety bracket

  • Safety brackets are required for every ceiling track installation.
  • One safety bracket must be installed in the "end" rail(s) for each line in system
Next Page

This example is made up of 3 rails

"end" rail #2

"end" rail #1

You might ask, what is an end rail?

One safety bracket is installed here
Next Page

If the systems contains only one rail, that rail is the end rail

What about systems made with one rail?

** There is more than 1 rail present**
Next Page
A safety bracket must be used at each end rail here

Here is an example:

These will be installed at each end rail

Only 2 safety brackets will need to be ordered

Next Page
Traversing rail is secured by the traverse kit A modified safetly bracket is included in traverse kit, no need to order one

What about systems containing a traversing rail?

Safety Bracket Ninja QUIZ

start

Question 1/6

Locking Mounting Brackets (safety brackets) prevent the rails from shifting, sliding or separating and eliminate the chance for potential safety issues.

Next

Question 2/6

  • Locking Mounting Brackets are required for every ceiling mounted installation
  • In a single rail installation (1) safety bracket is needed to prevent the rail from shifting or sliding.

Next

Question 3/6

There are 4 "end" rails, therefore 4 safety brackets would be needed for this system

Next

Question 4/6

3 safety brackets are needed, one in the each "end" rail.

Next

Question 5/6

Remember, a modified safety bracket is included with the traverse kit when ordered

4 safety brackets will be installed in this example
  • One over the toilet
  • One in the rail at foot of the bed (single rail)
  • One in each rail on both sides of the traverse connector
  • A modified safety bracket that is included with the traverse kit
4 safety brackets will need to be ordered for this installation
  • A traverse kit and traverse connector are present here

Next

Question 6/6
