Script

Refine Script: Using your outline as a guide, craft a polished script for your podcast episode. Focus on clarity, engagement, and storytelling techniques to effectively convey your message to the audience. Peer Review: Share your script with your assigned partner on the class discussion board to provide and receive constructive feedback. Refer to the course syllabus for feedback criteria.

You are permitted to integrate grammar checking tools to assist with proofreading. Utlize Expresso for writing refinement.

Research

Research Topic: Using a variety of resources including online databases, scholarly articles, and credible websites, you will conduct thorough research on a chosen topic. You should aim to gather relevant information, statistics, and anecdotes to support your content. Develop Outline: Based on your research findings, create a detailed outline for your podcast episode(s). The outline should include key points, subtopics, transitions, and potential interview questions (if applicable). Citations should be provided for all sources used in the outline.

Research must be completed on your own using appropriate sources. You may use AI tools to suggest outline topics, questions, and transitions. LLM of your choice: Pi.ai, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.

Record

Record Podcast Episode: Following the refined script, record your podcast episode using the Adobe Podcast tool. Create a free account by visiting: https://podcast.adobe.com/ Post-Production Editing: Edit your recorded podcast episode to remove errors, add music or sound effects. Export the finalized audio file as an MP3. Transcript Generation: After editing your podcast episode, download and review the transcript for accuracy. Submit a copy of your transcript to the Module 07 assignment link.

You are required to use the Adobe Podcast AI recording tool. This free tool ensures studio-quality recording, collaborative recording, easy editing, and transcription generation.
