LILI CHOMAT

With her work, Lili Chomat gives a sexuality to the important figures of Christianism, especially Virgin Mary, who she believes may have not been a virgin and could have commited a sexual act with an Angel or even a non etheral man. This blasphemous work is considered outrageous by many and she is facing harsh criticism towards her work, especially when she calls herself a Catholic who found faith by falling in love with a woman and doing photoshoots with her inside Church, clearly hinting to a sexual activity with her partner. During those many photoshoots in Church photoshoots in Church she also shows her naked body and even her period and genitals in this sacred place. With this, her work may be one of the most controversial french work of our era.
