- We are going to present you some inventions that we use everyday and their evolution
- Some inventions are older and some newer
- We'll also state some uses of them nowadays
- We are going to present you a timeline of some important inventions

Wheel
- The first wheel was a solid disk used primarily for pottery making
- The wheeled cart was a critical moment in transportantion
- 3500 BC - Invention of the spoked wheel
- Windmils used the rotational power of the wheel to grind grains
- Industrial Revolution - Introduction of steam engines and locomotives
- Nowadays, wheels are still essential to our lives
Paper
- 2nd century B.C. - Paper was invented by Cai Lun in China (Han dinasty)
- Precusors of the paper - Papyrus
- Main features - Transfer, record and archive written information
- Made of natural fibers
- 19th century - Wood pulp was introduced on the production of paper
Clock
- First clock to be invented - Sundial - Egypt, 3500 B.C.
- Clocks, as we know them, were created in 750 A.C.
- In the industrial revolution, clocks became electric.
- 1930 - First watch was invented. They used quartz crystals to mark the time
- Mechanical watches wear out and drift over time
- Nowadays, we have electronic watches and smartwatches
Telephone
- 1876 - First telephone to be invented - Alexander Grahm Bell
- Constituied by a microphone and a earphone
- Used by organizations and the governament
- 1973 - First handheld phone was created
- The introduction of mobile phones ended the restriction of connecting cables on the ends of the line
- Now, smartphones have lots of built-in features, and it's capable of doing anything.
Artificial Intelligence
- Alan Turing - The "father" of AI
- 1956 - The concept of AI was created by Alan Turing
- Humans already thought of AI even before techonolgy
- 1950 - Turing Test was introduced on Turing's study
- The advances of AI raised many ethical and moral questions
- Nowadays, we can do basically everything with Artificial Intelligence
