Domain Archaea
- These are some of the oldest organisms we know of
- They live in extreme conditions where most other life cannot survive
- They are not pathogenic
- They are prokaryotes, but they aren't true "bacteria"!
- Which is why they are their own domain.
Domain Bacteria
- These are the bacteria we think of.
- They live in a variety of environmental conditions
- They can be beneficial
- They can be pathogenic
