We can divided the tooth in three parts _ the crown _ the neck _ the root

Tooth structures:

Incisive: Their job is to cut and tear food. Canines: An upper canine has noticeably long roots and very prominent crowns, because they help support the structure of the mouth. In addition, canines perform the following functions:Main role: With their pointed and narrow shape, canine teeth help to easily hold and pierce food when we bite. Premolar: They are the permanent teeth found between the molars at the back of the mouth and the canines at the front. They are transitional teeth that have the characteristics of canine and molar teeth and help cut and move food from the front teeth to the molars for chewing. Molars: The crown is by far the most developed of the human dentition. The major diagonal is the one that extends trom the mesiobuccal angle to the distopalatal angle. The four cusps are delimited by a system of H-shaped grooves arranged obliquely. The main sulcus is usually interrupted by an oblique ridge.

There are five various views of the tooth, namely: the occlusal view (from above) the distal view (the part of the tooth furthest from the midline) mesial view (the part of the tooth closest to the midline) vestibular view (external part of the tooth) lingual or palatal view (internal part
