A Assistência Médica Internacional (A.M.I) , foi fundada em 1984 pelo médico Fernando Nobre. Apesar de ser fundada neste ano, ficou mais conhecida em 1995 pelo projeto "PORTA AMIGA".

A A.M.I tem como função principal ajudar famílias necessitadas mas, também ajuda em áreas de guerra ou mesmo em áreas onde aconteceram catástrofes naturais.
