Il bullismo si può definire come una forma di violenza verbale, fisica e psicologica ripetuta e nel tempo e perpetuata in modo intenzionale da una o più persone (i “bulli”) nei confronti di un'altra (la “vittima”)

Il cyberbullismo è una particolare forma di comportamento aggressivo simile al bullismo ma a differenza di questo, è attuato solamente attraverso l'uso di dispositivi elettronici
