Sales Office Change Orders vs. Contractual change orders

  • If changes need to be made to the Sales Office Selections after a contract has been ratified.
  • All changes need to be made within 7 Days of Ratification and approved by Operations.

Reasons to Create a Sales Change Order

  • To add Site Specific Selections- additional concrete, fencing, sod, and irrigation.
  • This information will be discussed at the Pre-Construction meeting with the Builder and conveyed by email to the NHA.

Reasons to Create a Sales Change Order

  • A cut-off Option Request (COR) has been approved and processed.
  • The option must now be added to a Sales Office Change Order to officially become part of the contract and appear on the start sheet.

  • To enter approved Additional Closing Costs after contract ratification.
  • To manually change Sales Price of a Market Home or a home under contract.

Reasons to Create a Sales Change Order

  • To enter the address of the home if it wasn't available at the time of the contract.

  • To add or remove buyers (one original buyer must always remain on the contract)
  • To change a closing date if required by lender.
  • To remove a contingency.
  • To convert a home to sell contingency to a home to close contingency.
