Como é que Descartes e D.Hume resolvem o problema do ceticismo?How does Descartes and D. Hume solve the skepticism problem?

(PT)Hume defende apenas a adoção de um ceticismo moderado como forma de nos protegermos contra o dogmatismo, as decisões precipitadas e as investigações demasiado especulativas, distantes da experiência e sem suporte empírico. (ENG) Hume only defends the adoption of a moderated skepticism as a way to defend ourselves from the dogmatism, from the hasty decisions and the to speculative decisions, distants from experience and with no empiric suport.

(PT) Para ambos há lugar para o ceticismo, a única diferença é que para Descartes, apenas um ceticismo metódico e provisório tem lugar, e para Hume o ceticismo tem lugar no que respeita à justificação da crença no mundo exterior. Mas o ceticismo é impraticável fora da reflexão filosófica. (ENG) For both Descartes and Hume, there is a place for skepticism, the only difference is that for Descartes, only a metodic and provisory skepticism has a place, and for Hume skepticism has a place with regards to justification of the belief in the outside world. But skepticism is impractical outside of philosophical reflexion.
