RVAPB was created to give residents a greater say in the future of their neighborhoods and to build our civic muscles. It allows us all to have a voice in how money is spent to improve our neighborhoods and make Richmond a better place for us all to live!

All of Richmond can get involved with the Richmond People’s Budget. Most importantly, it is a community lead process, and is not done “to” or “for” the community but “by" and “with” the community.

WHo

All of the city!!! In the first cycle we will be organizing around the 9 city council districts.

Where

It is a process that allows residents to have a say in how a part of the city’s budget is used. It gives you a chance to brainstorm ideas, develop proposals, vote on projects, and make a difference in your community.All residents 14+ can participate!
