The Henry Ford Motor Company was created in 1903. 7 years before that Henry Ford designed his first gasoline-powered automobile. Henry's first highly successful car came in 1908 which costted $750, 5 years later his most important invention was created, the assembly line. This invention allowed him to mass-produce cars at 9,000 a day, allowing for the middle class to afford them instead of the upper class.

In this photo, the workers are working on an assembly line making automobiles. It was designed so they don't have to move their legs an inch.
