What is Diabetes?

Diabetes, also known as diabetes mellitus is a disease that results in too much sugar in the blood stream.

Type 1 Diabetes

  • Gotten RELATIVELY late in life
  • body does not produce enough insulin
  • or body doesn't use insulin effectively
  • most common form and can be caused by diet

Type 2 Diabetes

  • Gotten reletivly early in life
  • body does not produce insulin
  • somewhat genetic
  • autoimmune disorder
