Asking for and giving directions.

Asking for and giving directions.

Objetivo N° 1 - 3er M.P.

Asking for and giving directions.

  • Asking: Excuse me, could you tell me how to get to the train station?
  • Giving: Sure, walk straight for two blocks and turn left at the bakery.
  • Asking: I'm a bit lost. Do you know where the nearest park is?
  • Giving: No problem, it's just around the corner on your right.
  • Asking: Is the library far from here?
  • Giving: It's a bit of a walk, about 15 minutes. You can take the bus too, though.
  • Asking: Could you show me on this map where the museum is?
  • Giving: Absolutely, the museum is right here, see the blue star?
  • Asking: Excuse me, is this the right way to get to the city center?
  • Giving: Yes, you're going the right way. Keep straight for another ten minutes.

  • Asking: Sorry to bother you, but how can I get to the airport by public transportation?
  • Giving: The easiest way is to take the metro. There's a station two blocks down.
  • Asking: Do you know where I can find a taxi?
  • Giving: There's usually a taxi rank just outside the main train station.
  • Asking: I'm not sure I understand. Could you repeat the directions one more time?
  • Giving: My apologies! No problem, let's go over it again.
  • Asking: Thank you so much for your help! You've been a lifesaver.
  • Giving: You're welcome! Glad I could be of assistance. Have a great day!
