Set-up & match

It is presumed that the internal process of aligning suitable pairs of mentors/mentees will be conducted prior to the commencement of the course We stand ready to assist in the facilitation of this process, as needed.

Learn

Understanding the principles of mentoring, acquiring the necessary mentoring skills, and adopting a systematic approach will be achieved through flipped learning. Participants will be introduced to the learning material via a 3-hour live webinar and the e-learning resources on the TAOLIN platform. Subsequently, participants will start applying this prework during the in-person workshop. The essential themes of the learning material are illustrated in the picture on the right-hand side.

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut eu ligula dolor. Fusce bibendum, eros eu tristique auctor

Practice

During the in-person 4-hour workshop, we initiate the development of mentoring skills through hands-on mentoring activities. In dyads, participants engage in discussions to establish their working agreement, defining expectations, acceptable practices, and boundaries (session #1) The dyads then conduct their initial mentoring session, applying the knowledge acquired from one another in practice and they get feedback from the facilitators (session #2)

Agenda for session #2 with your mentee

Get Support

After the practice session, we ensure the success of the programme by consistently checking in with mentors to evaluate the programme's effectiveness and the progress of the pairs. Furthermore, through the TAOLIN platform, we provide pairs with conversational prompts, assignments, and resources to enhance the development of empathic skills and best practices in mentorship. This support continues until the completion of the programme.

Reflect

At the conclusion of the program, we assemble participants for a 3-hour virtual session to lead a discussion on their self-discoveries, achievements, and how the program has contributed to leadership development. We prompt them to contemplate how they intend to apply these insights in leading their teams and engaging with peers, as well as internal and external stakeholders.
