Contacts, Companies and Deals what does each element mean? Contacts: Any person who interacts with your business can be saved as a contact in HubSpot. Examples of contacts include visitors that convert on a form, visitors who contact your chat team, or potential customers that your team met during an event.Companies: In HubSpot, companies store information about the organisations that interact with your business. The companies endpoints allow you to manage create and manage company records, as well as sync company data between HubSpot and other systems.Deals: In HubSpot, a deal represents an ongoing transaction that a sales team is pursuing with a contact or company. It's tracked through pipeline stages until won or lost. Deals, along with companies, contacts, tickets, line items, products, and quotes, are an object in the HubSpot CRM.

Tasks, calls and meetings what does each element mean? Tasks: You can create tasks as reminders associated with specific records. This could be for follow-ups, sending proposals etc.Calls: You can log calls as an activity type on contacts, organisations and deals. Within this you can add a description of it.Meetings: You can log meetings as an activity type on contacts, organisatons and deals. Exactly like calls.+ notes, whatsapp messages and more.

Your pipeline, let's manage it.Deal Stages: In your pipeline you will have different stages. Each stage represents an element of the sales cycle, each stage will have it's own close probability which allows us to forecast how much pipeline will close.Weighted Amount: This amount returns the multiplication of the amount x the probability of the deal closing where Deal Probability is set in the Deal Lifecycle stage.Deal Properties: Deal properties are used to store specific information for your deal records. HubSpot has several default properties, but you can also create custom properties to store any data you need for your deals. Deal properties can also be used to filter deals that show up in your view when viewing your records in HubSpot.

How to manage your deal properties

  • Add, edit, or delete deal stages in a pipeline
  • In your HubSpot account, click the settings settings icon in the main navigation bar.
  • In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Objects > Deals.
  • Click the Pipelines tab.
  • Click the Select a pipeline dropdown menu, then select the pipeline to edit.
To add a new deal stage
  • Under the existing deal stages, click + Add stage.
  • Enter a deal stage name
  • Click the dropdown menu in the Deal probability column
  • Select or enter a probability.

Syncing your email to Hubspot

  • Click settings (the cog in the top right-hand corner)
  • Click integrations.
  • Click email integrations.
  • Click connect an inbox.
  • Select Gmail/Outlook from the list of email providers.
  • Follow the instructions and choose the appropriate inbox.
