Foi assasinada no Rio de janeiro, numa quarta-feira, o carro onde estava Marrielle foi atingido por 13 tiros que tiraram a vida dela e do motorista Anderson Pedro Gomes que tinha 39 anos. O crime aconteceu durante a noite, pelas 21h 30min, na Rua Joaquim palhares, no estácio, região central do rio de janeiro. No carro estava a vereadora, a assesora parlamentar Fernanda Chavez. Eles voltavam de um evento realizado na Casa das Pretas, um espaço coletivo de mulheres negras situado na Lapa, quando foram subitamente alvejados.
