Instructions:Click on each image and learn the questions we recommend asking yourself for each target group.
How old is the target group and what stage of development is it? What are your learning preferences? What methods will help you learn? Is it made up of minors? If so, what considerations should be made when educating this target group?
Do any of the participants have any impediments? For example, vision, hearing, or physical problems may cause accessibility difficulties for some individuals.
What sport do they participate in? Is this a sport that has been identified as high risk for doping? Does the sport have specific information on sports matters that would be important for the target group to know?
Involve stakeholders, such as athletes, coaches, parents, medical professionals and National Federations (NF) in this process. Survey the questions you've reviewed to get feedback, which will help you determine the learning needs of your target groups. Previous surveys conducted, such as those at the end of the year, can also give you an idea of the learning needs of your target groups.
Is the target group motivated to learn and change behavior? If not, how can you motivate him? What can you do within your educational program to generate enthusiasm and engagement?
Do the people who make up the target group have different levels of education? For example, athletes in some countries may be well educated while others are not, so you may need to consider the different levels of education that exist within the same target group.
What does the target group currently know? What can you currently do? What does the target group need to know? What should I be able to do?
What education are you currently receiving and how are you receiving it? In person? Online? Is the education you receive with an educator? It's enough? Works? Does something need to be changed?
The answers to these questions will help you determine what you want to achieve and what your groups need. Knowing this will help you establish your overall goal and the specific objectives of the program.
