Presente continuo para hablar del futuro

Reglas para formar el gerundio (terminación ing)

Te recuerdo que para dar terminación al verbo, debes agregar ing. Sólo hay que seguir las siguientes reglas:

a) Si el verbo termina en e debes eliminar la e y aumentar ing. (manejar) Ejem: drive = driving

b) Los verbos que terminan en Y aumentan ing. (llevar) Ejem: carry = carring

c) Verbos que terminan en consonante – vocal – consonante doblan la última consonante antes de aumentar ing. (comenzar) Ejem: begin = beginning

Cuando se utiliza el presete continuo por lo general va a compañado de las siguientes expresiones de tiempo.

El presente continuo se puede usar para hablar de planes que vas a llevarlos a cabo, es decir, es algo que pasará en un futuro próximo y se usan expresiones de tiempo como las siguientes:

Jan: Hi, Bob, I´d love to. But, I can´t, tonight. I´m studying for my English exam

Bob: Mmm, and How about tomorrow night?

Jan: Tomorrow! I´m not sure, but I think I´m working late tomorrow, it's the end of the month.

Bob: In this case, Could we go out the weekend?

Jan: Oh, sorry, I couldn´t either. The weekend I´m traveling to Argentina, to see my boyfriend, he lives there. I´m sorry, I hope to see you soon.

Bob: Ok, I see! You are a very busy woman.
