Valentina Tereshkova

Infância

Valentina Tereshkova nasceu no dia 6 de Março de 1937 na cidade de Bol'shoe Masslenikovo na Rússia.Valentina é proveniente de uma família da classe operária. Aos 3 anos de idade sofreu a perda do pai na guerra russo-finlandesa. Ela só entrou para a escola aos oito anos.

Vida Trabalhadora

Valentina entrou para um clube de paraquedistas e deu o primeiro salto no dia 21 de maio de 1959.Criou depois mais tarde o próprio clube de paraquedismo. Dois anos depois juntou-se à equipa do Komsomol para ser secretária e recebeu também um certificado de especialista em tecnologia de fiação.

Valentina foi a primeira mulher a ir para o espaço na nave Vostok.De 4 candidatas para ir ao espaço e dessas era a menos qualificada, pois não tinha uma educação universitária, mas como tinha uma vida de paraquedismo foi ela a escolhida para ir ao espaço.

Valentina anos depois de voltar do espaço ingressou na política onde está até hoje como deputada pela Duma Federal.

Família

Valentina casou-se duas vezes. Da primeira vez com Andrian Nikolayev e, da segunda vez, com Iuli Shaposhnikov e não teve filhos.
