Rosa Louise parks

was an American activist in the civil rights movement best known for one episode in 1955 when she refused to give up a seat in the bus to a white person. This episode led to the Montgomery bus boycott. Rosa Parks was the daughter of James Henry McCauley And Leone Charlie Edwards. During the war her mother worked in Detroit, Michigan, and Rosa saw that North African Americans had more freedom than Southern African Americans.
