Hamlet's father died recently. Hamlet's uncle Claudius replaced the deceased king. The king's ghost then appears and reveals to his son Hamlet that he has been murdered by Claudius. Hamlet must avenge his father.

Sonnet 18, frequently titled Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? is one of the most famous of the 154 sonnets written by the playwright and poet William Shakespeare.
This was long thought to be the only portrait of William Shakespeare that had any claim to have been painted from life, until another possible life portrait, the Cobbe portrait, was revealed in 2009. The portrait is known as the 'Chandos portrait
