What is the meaning of SCALE?

  • the relation between the real size of something and its size on a map, model, or diagram.
  • It is normally represented by two numbers separated by a colon.

SCALE

For example, 1:100 (1 is to 100), 1:50 (1 is to 50) imply that a metric unit in the model is equivalent to 100 or 50 units respectively in the real object.The scale chosen depends on different aspects, including the functional aspect, that is, what it will be used for.

SCALE: BIG MODEL 1 : 50 MEDIUM MODEL 1 : 100 SMALL MODEL 1 : 150

SLENDERNESS

In architecture, slenderness is the quotient between the height of a building and its base.To be considered “super slim,” a building must have a “slenderness ratio” greater than 1:10 or 1:12.
