martin luther king was the leader of the civil rights movement in the Usa. the civil rights movement started with the montgomery bus boycott. this was a non-violent protest organized to avoid racial discrimination. even when the police arrested mlk he continued to fight for freedom. in 1964 he won the nobel prize for the peace. sadly he was assassinated in april 1968 but in the july of the same year african americanans and white ameracans had officially the same rights.
who was martin luther king?
Martin Luther King Jr. spoke out for equal rights and fair treatment. One important thing he did was the March on Washington in 1963, where he gave his famous "I Have a Dream" speech. He also worked for the right to vote in the Selma to Montgomery marches in 1965. These actions helped make positive changes for African Americans in the United States (south).

the goal of martin luther king was the equality and human rights for african americans. all of this had to be obtained whit non-violent protests (even white people supported him).did he won? after a lot of protests the supporters of mlk was increased and then in 1964 the governament authorized the civil rights act that provide

This is a verse of U2’s rock song "Pride". They dedicated this song to Martin Luther King in 1984. The Irish band wrote another sweet song for King, is called simply MLK and it is a tribute to his life

I think that martin Luther king was a fantastic person that dedicated his life to all the people that didn't have the same rights as someone else. I think that this is a really generous thing to do and i am glad that someone like him existed, there should more people like mlk out there.
