Thinking about prayers
When I pray, I use the Vedas to guide me.

By using the Vedas in prayer, I feel I am showing respect to Hindu traditions.
I chant mantras during prayer. Chanting is an important part of Hindu tradition.

I don’t use a prayer book when I pray at home but I do when I’m at the synagogue.
When I pray, I’ll read from the Siddur and Tehillim (the book of psalms). Sometimes I use an actual book but I also read them on an app on my phone.
I read from the Torah during prayer at the synagogue because we believe that it contains God’s words.

Sometimes I read the Qur'an after I have finished praying.
There are guidebooks that teach us how to pray and the actions to do but often we use the verses of the Qur’an.
I have memorised sections of the Qur’an and I say them off by heart when I pray.
