MATRICE EISENHOWER

La matrice d’Eisenhower est une méthode d’organisation qui permet de classer vos tâches en fonction de leur degré d’urgence et d’importance. Grâce à elle, vous pourrez mieux hiérarchiser vos priorités. D’où vient cette matrice ? C’est l’ancien président des États-Unis Dwight D. Eisenhower qui a conceptualisé l’idée sur laquelle repose cet outil. Dans un discours de 1954, le 34e président des États-Unis a repris les propos du président d’une université : « J’ai deux types de problèmes : des problèmes urgents et des problèmes importants. Les problèmes urgents ne sont pas importants et les problèmes importants ne sont jamais urgents. »

2) Utiliser un code couleur

Associez un code couleur à vos tâches et visualisez les tâches les plus urgentes. Lorsque vous parcourez votre liste de tâches, attribuez-leur une couleur selon leur degré de priorité. Nous vous conseillons d’utiliser le code couleur suivant :

Même si de nombreuses tâches figurent sur votre liste, limitez-vous à en inscrire 10 dans chaque catégorie. Ainsi, votre matrice Eisenhower sera plus lisible. Vous pouvez créer plusieurs matrices, mais si votre liste est limitée au strict minimum, vous perdrez moins de temps à hiérarchiser vos tâches.
