The first document I've chosen is an extract from the film sherek. An ogre who falls in love with a princess. I chose this document because it has elements of the sub-genre humourous fantasy . It is a parody of several fairy talesI also chose this document because I think it has an impact on our society by showing us that it's not because of a different social class that we can't be together.

the last document I'm presenting is an extract from the book The Chronicles of Narnia. the extract tells us about the children's arrival in their new home and the discovery of the magic wardrobe that leads to the magical world. I chose this extract because I think it represents urban fantasy well, with the magical world hidden away by a portal, and more personally I like the story and the magical mode that is in it. .

once upon a time

‘The first personal document I have chosen is the series: once unpon time. It tells the story of a young woman who was abandoned by her parents and did the same with her son Henry. One day her son finds her and asks her to go to the town of Storybrook because apparently she is a saviour who must restore the memory of the fairy tale perssonag of his parents who are Snow White and Prince Charming.I chose this series because it contains magical elements such as posions, magical objects and characters with magical powers. The perssonge are taken from fairy tales and we can see elements of the urban. There are also elements of urban fantasy, with hidden worlds in another universe and the city itself hidden from humans.

Twilight

The second personal document I have chosen is an extract from Twilight . The story is about a girl who moves to another state to live with her father and finds herself in a new school. She quickly becomes fascinated by a mysterious boy at her school, and as she gets to know him, she discovers that he's a vampire. I think we could have chosen this document because it contains elements of dark fantasy, such as werewolves and vampires, and I don't think we've studied much about this sub-genre.

Harry Potter

The second document I chose is one of the extras we saw on Harry Potter. I chose this extract because this film has the characteristics of urban fatasy. there's a hidden magical world and at the beginning of the film we're in the real world. we have magical elements like the boat that moves by itself without the help of an oar. Personally, I chose this document because I think there's a certain wonderment in seeing all the magic at Hogwarts.

Fantasy is a literary and artistic genre that is often associated with magic, the imaginary world or supernatural. there are six sub-genres of fantasy

• Epic fantasy : it takes place in medieval times, it's the good VS evil ,we've got monsters, creatures and lots of characters .
• low fantasy :The elements are traditional, there is no magic. The focus is on the character rather than the world around them.
• urban fantasy :it happens in the real world with a hidden magic world

• hitorical fantasy :it's based on a real historical moment impacted by magic
• humorous fatasy : it's a satire or a parody
• dark fantasy : close to horror stories with main characters who are vampire or werewolf creatures
