Haring's biography
Keith Haring was a famous street art artist, socially engaged. Born in Pennsylvania, he moved to New York in the early 1980s, where he became known for his street work and his work at Club 57. His works addressed social and political issues, promoting equality and raising awareness about AIDS, from which he died in 1990, at the age of 31. His mural "Tuttomondo" in Pisa, Italy is a lasting expression of his artistic impact.

Keith Haring whose works are characterized by presence in public places, in particular at urban areas, making art accessible to all. Using stylized and iconic figures, Haring created recognizable works, such as the famous "Tuttomondo" mural in Pisa, and addressed social issues such as AIDS and drugs. Haring is famouse thanks his murals,but also because he never hid his sexual orientation. In that period (1980s) , a gay person was still not accepted by society but Haring, without any filter, always expressed his true personality.So he helps thousend and thousend of people that couldn't talk about their sexual orientation to their relatives, friends.
