The Russian alphabet has 33 letters and is called Cyrillic. It is used by many languages, with small differences, e.g Estonian,Ukrainian and Mongolian.Over 150 million people speak Russian, making it the 8th most commonly spoken language in the world.

-You can see some Russian letters in the grid on the next slide.-Some look familiar, but some are completely different. -Can you spot letters that look like English (Latin alphabet) letters?
