Learning Objective
We will: Use what we learned from other authors we will develop a detailed plot outline for our own personal narrative
The Prompt
Write a personal narrative that describes a moment in your life when you learned an important lesson. Focus on a very small slice of your life, like one event or one day.
Your final essay will be a minimum of 5 paragraphs and 2 full pages long.
The Requirements
Your Plot Outline Should have:
An Exposition that introduces the characters, setting and main conflict.
A turning point or climax
A Rising Action that contains 2-3 events related to the conflict
A resolution that explains the lesson you learned from the experience
A falling action containing 1-2 events that help resolve the confict
