A banda desenhada (BD) conta-nos uma história através de imagens e algum texto.O texto aparece nos balões de fala e nas legendas.Cada imagem é uma vinheta.A um conjunto de imagens numa mesma linha, dá-se o nome de tira. Todas as vinhetas de uma página formam uma prancha.
